Jordan Radev is just one of the nine highly professional trainers/teachers to join the exciting FIGHT FACTORY GYM. Born in Bulgaria thirty-six years ago; he instructs his students in the many aspects of Mixed Marshal Arts (MMA).

He first arrived on US soil in 2007 for a UFC match, but returned to his homeland. He would come back here for a fight every so often, before making America his permanent home in 2009.
“I have been in MMA for eleven years and I am still a professional MMA fighter,” said Radev. “I started first with free style wrestling. I wrestled for 26 years.”
In describing what he teaches, Radev explained that MMA consists of four basic styles; “It’s wrestling, boxing, kick boxing, and grappling/jujitsu. I teach them all. We start with boxing, stand up, and finish on the ground. I teach boxing and the take down. You have to learn how to punch from the ground and to defend from the ground.”

Radev is a world class athlete who has competed at the highest level having held the Championship of Bulgaria. A member of the Bulgarian national team from 1994 to 2002, he competed in world, European and Olympic championships for his country.

This traveling competitor, teacher, coach and advisor even spent one year as a member of the German wrestling league in 2000 after which he became the wrestling champion of the Netherlands in 2001 and 2002. Add to that the grappling championship of the Netherlands the following year, and one can see the level of expertise he has garnered.

Radev won many more honors in his long and illustrious career that has brought him to the FIGHT FACTORY GYM. This is more than just a place to teach wrestling, it is a community of combat sports where Radev has found a home.

In addition he lead his teams twice to the club wrestling championships of the Netherlands – with team Pehlivan in 2002 and team Kops in 2006; plus he was grappling champion of Bulgaria that year as well. His professional mixed martial artist record is 23-4 over a ten year career. He fought in various, prestigious organizations such as 2H2H, Rings, KSW, its Showtime, UFC, M1 Challenge, Helsinki Fight Festival, and BMMAF. He is trained in kickboxing and boxing at the Kops gym in Amsterdam, Holland, with the team of Peter Aerts, K-1 champion, and the team of former IBO World Middleweight Boxing Champion, Raymond Joval.
Radev trained in grappling at the prestigious Renzo Gracie academy in New York. He was a coach of the Bulgarian national Mixed Martial Arts team in the M-1 Challenge fighting league in 2009. This multi-talented combat wizard also coached mixed martial arts in the Cayman Islands in 2010 and 2011. He has joined the FIGHT FACTORY GYM to share his knowledge and experience with those who want to learn.
Many of the students that he taught in the Cayman Islands went on to win championships. One in particular who won a grappling title in a tournament in Canada, “When he came home to the Islands he learned that he had had become a big star,” said Radev.
